Holete
Training and developing the whole athlete — body, mind, and heart.
Our Story
-
Sports and physical training are gifts meant to be enjoyed and stewarded by all. But in our culture, they are often distorted and idolized.
We see…
Overtraining and burnout.
Body image struggles and unhealthy relationships with food.
Athletes defining their worth by their performance.
Fear of injury and hopelessness when it happens.
Training for short-term results or obsessing over longevity.
Others withdrawing from movement altogether, avoiding what they were never taught how to build, and believing they are simply not athletic.
-
Holete was created to restore a healthier vision of sports and physical training.
We believe our bodies are gifts entrusted to us, vessels where God dwells. We are called to steward them with wisdom, discipline, and excellence.
We believe competition goes beyond winning. It is a space where humility, courage, resilience, and Christlikeness can be practiced and formed.
We believe injuries and weakness are not signs of failure, but reminders that we live in a broken world, waiting for full redemption. We train hard, rest well, and entrust our bodies to the Lord in both strength and limitation.
-
At Holete, spiritual and physical formation are not separated.
As we strengthen the body, we shape the heart.
As we grow in faith, we transform how we train. We aim to build athletes:
Who steward their bodies well so they can faithfully carry out their callings.
Who grow in Christlikeness through competition and training.
Who develop and train their heart and body together.
Who enjoy movement as a lifelong gift. -
The name Holete comes from Holistic Athlete and points toward becoming a Holy Athlete.
We are building more than strong bodies.
We are building disciplined, grounded, faithful women and men who train with excellence and rest in grace.
